Experimental studies were carried out in the 0.6 m×0.6 m continuous transonic wind tunnel of CARDC order to investigate flow characteristics slotted test section. results show that root-mean-square deviation axial Mach number model area is above 0.01 when section 1.0.Numerical simulation under same conditions section, together with experimental indicate tow phenomena may directly cause fluctuation. Firstly, a straight was installed connect nozzle and tunnel. Weak shock waves due curvature discontinuity at joint contribute Secondly, open-area ratio both upper lower wall each 8 slots, 10%. The larger porosity leads stronger expansion acceleration zone located inlet over accelerated because wave thus fluctuate field severely. Two measures taken improve quality based on above-mentioned analysis: ?Flexible plate instead solid bridge eliminate discontinuity; ?Decreasing 6% slots 6. Numerical fluctuation suppressed satisfactory degree.
